United Way of Blount County and Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School joined us this week at the Day Center and Thrift Store.
SERVE – Students Engaged in Rewarding Volunteer Experiences – helped us with sorting clothes at the thrift store, spreading mulch on the playground, planting flowers, cleaning out the vans, and washing the windows!
They were a wonderful group of students and we really appreciate Justin Ford and Beth Anne Koons for bringing them out!
By the way – we purchased many of the plants at the William Blount Greenhouse sale – another great group of students and teachers!
