I had an infant and a 4 year old when I came into the program. I had a job. I had a car, I just didn’t have a roof over our heads. I walked into Kathi’s office, spoke with her and got accepted into the program. We went through the program and went into transitional housing for a bit as well. I’ve been on my feet ever since. I still keep in touch with some of the families, and volunteers too. My daughter took her first steps out at one of the churches we stayed at, so this program is really special to me. This program not only gives you security when it comes to housing, they do many other things. They give you financial advice, and make sure your finances are in order as well. It’s a very well rounded program.
