Family Promise of Blount County is looking to partner with Blount County Landlords

We have guests looking for permanent housing. We work with our guests through two programs that help prepare them for renting-

1. Future Begins at Home: This is a grant program where we can pay the initial deposit and background check the potential renter.

2. Keys to Good Tenancy: This is a curriculum Family Promise National  developed in conjunction with the National Association of Realtors. We educate our guests and they receive a certificate for completing all of the units.

Examples of topics covered:

• Be reliable – Pay rent on time.

• Household Budgeting.

• Take care of the property: cleaning and maintenance.

• Be a good neighbor!
