Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Second Annual Spooktacular fundraiser over the weekend! We are truly grateful to the Parkway Drive-In and the rest of our generous sponsors for their contributions to this event: Modern Woodmen/Steve Wigley, Charlotte Chance of Farmers Insurance, Kona Ice, Small Town BBQ, and Imagination Jubilation. I also want to publicly thank AutoPro for getting us out of a jam on Friday afternoon. The generator we rented to inflate the bounce houses was stuck in a vehicle whose trunk wouldn’t open! AutoPro jumped to the rescue and got the door open so we could carry on with preparations for the night’s event. It’s just another example of the many ways this community helps lift us up and supports our mission.
Thank you also to our amazing volunteers and to each of you who decorated a car and passed out candy to all of the kids at Trunk or Treat. Your creativity is inspiring and has me dreaming up a theme for our family’s car next Halloween. We had such a great time both nights. Fundraisers like Spooktacular help fund our programs and ensure that we can serve as many families as possible. So thank you for your support! We are already making plans for next year’s Spooktacular and can’t wait to see you there!
