From the Executive Director: Big News!

I have some big news to share with you! Earlier today, Family Promise of Blount County signed the papers on the purchase of a new retail space. We will soon be opening a thrift store on Lincoln Road in Alcoa. This thrift store will not only allow the families we serve to have easier access to the furniture and clothes they need, but will also help fund our programs. We have seen success with our pop-up thrift store out in Friendsville and we are excited to be offering a store in a more accessible location. Stay tuned for grand opening information and details on how your donations can help stock the thrift store. This retail space has been the dream of many people for many years. Our previous executive director, Kathi Parkins, planted the seeds of this project in faith and today, we saw that vision come to fruition.   Thank you for your ongoing support of Family Promise of Blount County.
