Family Promise of Blount County was chosen to receive the Clayton-Family Promise (National) grant “A Future Begins at Home” for Prevention and Diversion.
This program helps us help families when we don’t have an opening in our shelter program.
We can provide case management to help them with barriers and goals (budgeting, transportation, employment, etc.)
Our mission always remains the same Creating a Community Where Every Child Has a Home.
We help working families find safe, affordable housing. Families we can serve will meet the same requirements (they can pass a background check and drug test; are employed or willing and able to work, and commit to working our program.)
