Lorrie Crockett
Community Engagement Coordinator

Lorrie Crockett has been with Family Promise since February 2019.  She has served in non-profit roles for over 20 years. Lorrie has an M.Ed. from Trenton State College in Special Education and taught for 10 years in New Jersey before moving to Tennessee.  She is a self-professed data nerd who only learned to love a good database because if you want to run good programs you have to be able to get to the data (her Dad would be proud – he wanted her to go into computers.)    She came to Family Promise because she was drawn to helping children have a stable, loving home.  She has two adult children who both graduated from Heritage High School and she and her husband Jim live in Blount County with two dogs and cat.

I feel blessed to live in Blount County and to be able to participate in this community to end family homelessness. I bring years of nonprofit experience and a deep love for helping people become the best version of themselves. I am very grateful for the collaborations of our United Way partner agencies.
