Earlier this year, Family Promise of Blount County was awarded a “Future Begins at Home” grant from Family Promise National. This $20,000 grant provides funds to serve families in our community through prevention and diversion services. We have already served 16 families with these services, for a total of 57 parents and children. This is in addition to the families we are serving in our Shelter and Transitional Housing programs.
In order to maximize this grant opportunity, Family Promise of Blount County needs to raise $10,000 in matching funds. As of August 2021, we have already raised $6,500. Can you help get us to $10,000? Every dollar we raise helps keep families in our community safely housed.
